Aren't Belle's eyes light brown, well in the movie? Originally aren't they like light brown?

If you look close enough, her eyes go from light to dark, depending on the scene :)

I somehow sent my as without finishing it, weird. But anyway. I think her eyes are more of a hazel and in the dolls they always put a brown ring around the outside of her eyes. At least the newer ones.

I do have belle dolls with hazel but still nada with straight green. Green is a strong coloring trait in hazel eyes :) I don’t really mind seeing items with the wrong eye color and such. It just makes me more interested in finding and buying said items :) Small cosmetic changes are not enough to persuade me that it isn’t belle. I have many older items where Belle has a crazy orange tan and oddly colored outfits and it’s never once bothered me. If I wanted the same exact representation every time, I’d just buy one :)

I just took a look at all of my Belle barbies and that person is right! They all have green eyes! However, printed things such as christmas ornaments, and this one candy cane thing i have of Belle, have brown eyes!

That’s still so weird to me only because I’ve never seen it haha I own about 60 Belle dolls, and all have brown/hazel eyes, which is probably why they’ve been showing up with green. I have hazel eyes and as such, they change colors according to what I wear. They go from blue, to grey and, green with brown specks. Most commonly my eyes are blue and green at the same time. Right now they are green though. This confused my boyfriend greatly when we first met haha

Regarding the Belle with green eyes thing: For YEARS they've tried making Belle's eyes green. Most of her dolls have green eyes. It's extremely upsetting. I refuse to purchase any Beauty and the Beast merch that has Belle with green eyes.

That’s crazy because I’m a hardcore BATB collector and have yet to see anything, and I’ve been buying for decades. I live in Southern California so maybe that factors into why these variations are happening? I’d love to get my hands on a Belle with green eyes just because I’ve never seen that myself, but I agree, why change what’s already perfect? Crazy Marketing. Someone must get bored a lot in that dept. haha

AM I SERIOUSLY THE ONLY ONE UPSET ABOUT THE FACT THAT DISNEY MADE BELLE'S EYES BRIGHT ASS MOTHER FUCKING GREEN?!
